"The Results Are Striking..."

According to research presented at the 52nd American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Annual Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee,

"After exercising, study participants returned to work more tolerant of themselves and more forgiving of their colleagues.  Their work performance was consistently  and significantly higher, as measured by:
-Ability to manage time demands
-Ability to manage output demands
-Mental and interpersonal performance
The gains were widespread, with a minimum of 65% of workers improving in all three areas on exercise days."

"Participants tracked mood, and as expected, exercising enhanced their mood.  However, boosts in productivity were over and above the mood effects."

"Companies see more productive employees who also work better together.  From the public health side, health care costs can be expected to go down for employees who exercise regularly at work.  Think of it: fewer sick days, better attendance, and more tolerant co-worker relations."

What is DOMINUS?

Dominus is the Latin word for master or owner.

We seek to master ourselves to the extent we can be better servants to our fellows.  By being healthier, stronger and happier, we are more useful to others.

We seek to challenge ourselves and inspire others to do the same.

"No excuses, no regrets."

Harder to kill...and generally more useful.

The quote "strong people are harder to kill than weak people, and more useful in general." is attributed to Mark Rippetoe, the owner, janitor and general manager of Wichita Falls Athletic Club, CrossFit Wichita Falls and Performance Sports Conditioning, and author of Starting Strength: A Simple and Practical Guide for Coaching Beginners.

The same can be said for businesses.  Strong businesses are harder to kill than weak businesses.  They can sustain tougher economies.  Strong businesses are generally more useful.  What makes businesses strong?  The same things that make people strong:  fundamentals.
