Harder to kill...and generally more useful.

The quote "strong people are harder to kill than weak people, and more useful in general." is attributed to Mark Rippetoe, the owner, janitor and general manager of Wichita Falls Athletic Club, CrossFit Wichita Falls and Performance Sports Conditioning, and author of Starting Strength: A Simple and Practical Guide for Coaching Beginners.

The same can be said for businesses.  Strong businesses are harder to kill than weak businesses.  They can sustain tougher economies.  Strong businesses are generally more useful.  What makes businesses strong?  The same things that make people strong:  fundamentals.
